Edi Rama is a politician, artist and publicist.  He is currently the Chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania and the Mayor of Tirana, the Capital city of Albania.

On October 2000, Edi Rama ran for Local Elections of Tirana as an independent candidate supported by the Socialist Party of Albania and gathered 57% of the votes. He was elected the Mayor of Tirana for the first mandate.

MP Victor Ponta, chief of the opposition Social Democratic Party (PSD) in Romania, was born on September 20, 1972 in Bucharest. He is a 1991 graduate of the Ioan Neculce High School of Bucharest and a 1995 graduate of the School of Law, the Bucharest University. He attended master classes in international criminal law of the University of Catania, Sicily, Italia. He holds a PhD in international criminal law of the University of Bucharest and is also a 2002 graduate of Romania's National Defence College.
